Parents as partners
There are several ways our parents stay involved in the life of their child at The Village Preschool. We offer the following opportunities for families to become involved because we see the parents as our partners in the care and education of their child. Parent Advisory Committee ,Parent Education Meetings, Parent Teacher Conferences, Developmental Assessments, Open House, Graduation, Family Picnics, Holiday Parties, St. Jude Trike-a-thonFundraiser, Muffins for Mom, Donuts for Dad, Grandparents Day, Pet supply donations for the Animal Shelter, Winter Coat Drive, Holiday food drive and others. Some of the educational meetings may cover topics from positive discipline techniques to college saving plans. We ask professionals from the field of Early Childhood to come into our sites to provide families with vital information that will help in their parenting skills.
We support our troops
We are proud and honored to support our military familes! We offer a military discount and also provide emotional support for children whos parents are or will be deployed. We also accept NACCRRA. Please see below for more information about NACCRRA.
NACCRRA works in partnership with child care centers to help those who serve in the military find and afford child care that suits their unique needs. The Department of Defense, NACCRRA & Child Care Resource & Referral agencies, are building the quality and capacity of child care throughout the country. The Village Prechools support our military families as we partner with outside agencies. For more information visit their website by clicking the picture.
The Tennessee Child Care Certificate Program is funded from the Federal Families First/TANF block grant. For more information visit their website by clicking the picture.
